Criteria for online Nomination


•    BIBM Member banks can access to the online registration form for any Training Course / Training workshop before fourty (40) days of the commencement of the programme.


•    Member banks of BIBM can nominate a maximum number of three (03) participants for a Training Course / Training workshop.

•    Maximum number of participants in each Training Course / Training workshop is 40 excepting Computer & IT related Training Courses / Training workshops (lab-based) where the maximum number of participants is 30. However, if the number of total nominees exceeds the maximum number, a final list of 35 participants will be prepared by the BIBM authority which will be available online five (05) days prior to the commencement of the Training Course / Training workshop.

•    In case of Research and Review Workshop, the total number of participant may exceed 40.

•    Information in regard to rejection of any nomination will be communicated to the concerned bank at least three (03) days before the commencement of Training Course / Training workshop.

•    No participant under the target group/level is allowed for participation in any Training Course / Training workshop.

•   All BIBM Training Courses / Training workshops are residential. Thus all member banks (except Bangladesh Bank) are required to pay Tk.1500 per day per participant including holiday (if any) as food and hostel charges.

•    The pay order / bank draft drawn in favor of BIBM is to be sent at least seven (07) days prior to the commencement of the Training Course / Training workshop.

Guidelines for Selection of Participants by Banks:

Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) generally conducts six types of programmes:

1. Training Course          2. Training Workshop        3. Research Workshop      4. Review Workshop       5. Outreach Training Course      6. Outreach E-Workshop

The member banks are requested to follow the following guidelines to nominate the participants:

  • Participants nominated for BIBM Training programmes should be selected from relevant desks or department for greater effectiveness.
  • BIBM Training Courses are designed to disseminate both theoretical and practical knowledge among bankers.
  • BIBM Training Workshops are designed for mutual learning. Thus the nominated participants should have experience and expertise on the topic/issue.
  • BIBM Research Workshops are designed to handle challenges in banking activities. Thus the nominated participants for Research Workshop should have experience and expertise on the topic/issue.
