Certificate Awarding Ceremony of International Training Program for Nepalease Bankers held at Bangladesh Bank

Certificate Awarding Ceremony of international training program on ‘Risk Based Internal Audit’ for the Nepalese bank executives held at Bangladesh Bank auditorium today on January 24, 2019. Certificate Awarding Ceremony organized by Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM). Fazle Kabir, Chairman of the BIBM Governing Board and Governor, Bangladesh Bank present at the event as Chief Guest. A total number of 23 Nepalease Bankers awarded certificates in the program.
Governor of the Bangladesh Bank Fazle Kabir said, now-a-days banking, has become knowledge-based and dynamic profession. Hence improving the capacity of the banking industry is imperative. In addition to the bank level initiative to enhance the capacity, BIBM is also doing the needful since its inception. 
Governor of the Bangladesh Bank thanked BIBM and BIFN for the joint efforts and asked both the institution to collaborate future as well.
Over the years, the Institute has helped hundreds of thousands of practitioners, as well as graduates eager to join the industry, to acquire essential banking skills and to stay tuned with the latest knowledge of the industry, he added.
Director General (Current Charge) of BIBM, Dr. Shah Md. Ahsan Habib said, a training format is an adult learning forum where we all that means speaker and participants share thoughts to learn from each other. And it is also very important to ensure both-way participations to optimize benefits out of the program. He urged participants for active participation to create knowledge forum for optimizing benefits.The initiative of BIBM-BFIN joint venture draws its root in November last year when the two institutions signed an MOU at BIBM. 

Managing Director of BFIN, Dr. Binod Atrey, Ruby Bhattaroy of BFIN, High officials of Bangladesh Bank and course coordinators also spoke in the program.
