Dhaka, 28 February, 2024:
A half day long review workshop was held at the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) auditorium on 28 February, 2024. Mr. Kazi Sayedur Rahman, Chairman of BIBM Executive Committee and Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank was present in the review workshop as the chief guest. Md. Alamgir, Associate Professor & Director (Training & Certification Program) of BIBM delivered welcome address. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Director General of BIBM Chaired the Program. 

A paper titled “Trade Services Operations of Banks” was presented in the workshop by Dr. Shah Md. Ahsan Habib, Professor (Selection Grade) of BIBM.  Other members of the review workshop were Tofayel Ahmed, Assistant Professor of BIBM; Rahat Banu, Assistant Professor of BIBM; Rajib Kumar Das, Lecturer of BIBM; Md. Mokaddem Ahamad, Joint Director of Bangladesh Bank; ATM Nesarul Hoque, Head of Trade of Mutual Trust Bank PLC.

Md. Abdus Salam Azad, HFF, Supernumerary Professor of BIBM; Md. Ali Hossain Prodhania, Supernumerary Professor of BIBM; Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, MD & CEO of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. made comments as designated discussants.

A good number of participants including senior bank executives, academicians, faculty members of BIBM took part in the review workshop.######
