Dhaka, 02 March, 2021:

A half day long online roundtable discussion was held at the

Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) on 02 March,

2021. Ahmed Jamal, Chairman of BIBM Executive Committee and

Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank was present in the program as

the chief guest. Dr.Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Director General of BIBM

Chaired the Program. Dr. Ashraf Al Mamun, Associate Professor and

Director (Research, Development & Consultancy) of BIBM delivered

welcome speech.

A paper titled "Artificial Intelligence in Banking: Adopt or Perish

"was presented in the roundtable discussion by Md. Shihab Uddin

Khan, Associate Professor of BIBM. Other members of the team are

A good number of participants including senior bank executives,

part in the roundtable discussion.
