Online Roundtable Discussion on "Credit Derivatives to Overcome the Antagonistic Effects of Loan Rescheduling and Loan Restructuring" held at BIBM

A half day long online roundtable discussion was held at the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) on 09 February, 2021. Ahmed Jamal, Chairman of BIBM Executive Committee and Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank was present in the program as the chief guest.  Dr. Shah Md. Ahsan Habib,  Director General (Current Charge) of BIBM Chaired the Program. Dr. Ashraf Al Mamun, Associate Professor and Director (Research, Development & Consultancy) of BIBM delivered welcome speech.

 

A paper titled "Credit Derivatives to Overcome the Antagonistic Effects of Loan Rescheduling and Loan Restructuring" was presented in the Roundtable Discussion by Mohammed Sohail Mustafa, CFA , Associate Professor and Director (Training & Certification Programs) of BIBM. Other members of the team are Rahat Banu,Assistant Professor of BIBM; Reefat Zaman Shourov, Lecturer of BIBM. 

 

Professor Barkat-e-Khuda, Dr.Muzaffer Ahmed Chair Professor  of BIBM; Md. Ali Hossain Prodhania, Managing Director of Bangladesh Krishi Bank; Yasin Ali, Former Supernumerary Professor of BIBM; Md. Ebtadul Islam, Supernumerary Professor of BIBM; Mominul Islam, Managing Director and CEO of IPDC Finance Limited made comments on the seminar paper as designated discussants. 

 

A good number of participants including senior bank executives, academicians, media representatives, faculty members of BIBM took part in the roundtable discussion.
